(23 saw the white horse. | Dare to disturb the universe.)

This journal will be mostly friends-only, and by 'mostly' I mean that there's a very small chance that at some time I may post a public entry.

Comment, and I will very likely add you.

I'll post cat pictures sometime when I can get to a scanner. Voyant (the cat's name) pictures are pretty pictures indeed.

Here are the rules... people who are tagged need to write in their own blog 7 random/interesting facts about themselves, along with these rules. Then, tag 7 people to do the same.

1. The back of my cell phone is covered in black electrical tape, and sometimes the pound key doesn't work. One day, for a few hours, any time I pressed the star key it automatically typed a 47 in front of the star. Do I need a new phone, or what?

2. My top left molars are taller than my top right molars. In fact, my entire mouth structure is a crooked structure whose parts compensate for the other parts. I remember when I was little asking my dentist if I needed braces, and he said no.

3. My great-aunt Pauline was said to have died in 1969, but didn't really. She spoke to my mom on the phone one Christmas a few years after that. All other facts are in a mysterious fog. I believe she died in 2001 but have no tangible basis for believing this; just a strong feeling.

4. In first grade the teacher had a game where anyone who read at least 100 books would get a little trophy. I read 732 books that year. The teacher's assistant joked that her hand was going to fall off writing down all those books.

5. When I was 9 one day I tried to ride my bike with my eyes closed. I ran over a drain pipe and got cut by the bike's seat. It hurt so bad that I thought for a minute I had broken my hip.

6. I had a crush on the first twelve Zacks I knew. One of these Zacks looked like Billy Corgan looked when Siamese Dream came out.

7. My first vivid memory is of rescuing an orange kitten from a dumpster. I named him Tid Bit but he grew to be long and huge, so his name got shortened to Tid.

I tag <lj user="leeann_marie">, <lj user="kuukiventomu">, <lj user="moonfairysong">, <lj user="shinaraz">, <lj user="southon17">, <lj user="aquathegoddess">, and <lj user="oh_alacrity">.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): In her book *Frankenstein,* Mary Shelley created a monster who was smart and sensitive. He felt empathetic pain for the suffering of Native Americans. He desperately wanted a mate. He read Milton's *Paradise Lost,* and felt a grieving kinship with the struggles of Adam depicted therein. In accordance with current astrological omens, Pisces, I encourage you to acknowledge and express love for your own inner Frankenstein monster--the tormented, disfigured, and yet powerful part of your psyche that needs your compassion. I'm sure that this will prevent it from doing what Shelley's fictional character ultimately did, which was to go on a rampage--and will maybe even set it on a course to become a force for good. Recent words with lchan makes me wish all the more than I had gone through with the idea that simmered in my brain a few years ago of walking up to Central's principal one morning and saying, with a thick put-on drawl, "Good mahhwnin Mistuh Fuckwin."

kuukiventomu, I still need to finish that letter I'm writing to you! I will mail it as soon as possible. I've been far busier this semester than I imagined. I've felt like I don't have a second to breathe most of the time. You can go ahead and send me a letter first if you want, to get things started. That would be cool. :)

And naturalone1976, I promise one day to send you that package! I appreciate everything you send and will definitely check out those movies on a friend's DVD player some time. My parents are talking about getting a TV that plays DVDs one day soon, too, so that will be cool.

In Informal Logic class earlier this week I saw a sentence in a newspaper article that said: "I was always taught that the things you've always been taught are unchangeable truths."
